  1. You'll grow sprouts, not onions. Onion sets are bulbs and must winter over to produce new onions in the fall.

I love this, you got everything down pretty well but I would personally recommend for those looking to get full size/larger onions to store in a much larger container with each cutting/bulb spaced out more, and layer with compost/leaf litter stuff every while, they love lots of proper nutrients to grow and especially lots of water

  3. top and tail the onion and plant that part, the rest of the onion you eat. Ain’t got time for this slow process

  4. I won't hurt to try I love chive and he don't want me to buy chive because it have a powder on the chive that not good for people

  5. The amount of poor misinformed people who think this is how you get more onions when I actuality they come from seeds & bulbs and this is nome of those.. 😂

  6. All is gonna do is give you a bunch of flowers and no bulbs. The plant at this point is too old. You could eat the greens, but that's it. You could also harvest seeds.
