It’s not FOR poor men, it MAKES you poor. I wish we could go back to regular meat prices. I remember back when Chuck eye steak was $3.99/lb. I know that’s not what you bought, it’s just one of those cuts of meat I enjoyed having around. BBQ’ing is headed to be a luxury rather than a favorite past time.

how do you like your smokey mountain ? I have an old kamado that I want to replace, and I realize I only ever used it to do low and slow, so I hesitate between buying a brand new kamado or if I wouldn’t be better off with a smokey mountain, which would make it possible to add wood and charcoal more easily.
Any point of view on that ?

It looks cool with the smoke just rippling out…my ugly drum smoker with a Weber dome lid on it only has smoke coming out out of the lid vent.

I refuse to call them poor man’s burnt ends. Fucking 4 pounds of chuck roast was 35 dollars?! What is going on with that. It use to be like 10-15 ish.
