Blend chickpeas, peanut butter, maple syrup and a milk together to make a paste (I did it in a nutribullet, it just about copes). Fold in flour, salt, a little baking powder (I think this was too much flour, next time I'll go for 50g) and chocolate chips or whatever you like.

At this point, you have a dough that tastes kind of beany and you think this is a waste of time. Portion out a piece to eat, I would go 50-100g, microwave for just 30-45 seconds. Suddenly, beany weird is gone/massively faded, you have a nice bit of melting chocolate cookie dough, that also has some fibre

I will say I did not weigh the milk or maple syrup here, so that might be slightly off although I regularly pour 20g maple syrup quite accurately in my chia

    Hey, don’t use regular flour. It can make you sick if it’s eaten before cooked. Try using almond flour or oat flour etc. Looks good!
