23 downtown Macon restaurants are rolling a variety of loaded appetizers and entrées for anyone to enjoy for a limited time.
MACON, Ga. — Downtown Macon restaurants are set to start their fryers for the city’s fourth annual French Fry Fight.
For three full days, between July 9 and July 11, 23 different restaurants downtown will be offering up unique fries loaded up with a variety of toppings.
Restaurants are encouraged to get as creative as they’d like, creating heavier appetizers that can border on entrées.
Last year, Cashman’s Pub took home the top title, as their Asian Sesame Fries, topped with short ribs, scallions and a Japanese barbecue sauce, earned the Super Spud Trophy.
Now, Cashman’s Pub, alongside several other restaurants, is vying for the coveted prize.
The rules themselves are fairly simple. Each restaurant that’s participating will serve up its fried dish, which will cost between $10 and $20.
After trying as many french fry dishes as they’d like, participants can vote on their favorite fried concoction here.
Below, you’ll find a full breakdown of each dish available. For photos, NewTown Macon included several photos on their website.
