Thanksgiving Sandwich! l am NOT waiting until November! If you’ve never been to America, get this as soon as you visit!
My favorite is from D’Angelo’s but I don’t come across many here in FL and they’re always way too high in sodium. I made my own with “no salt” turkey, good ol’ canned cranberry sauce and homemade stuffing.

Now, that is what I’m talking about. The Thanksgiving sandwich is my favorite sandwich in the whole world. You can’t always get a good one. Good slather of mayo. Season the bread. I’m just going to keep it really simple. Fold your lunch meats over. That gives it a chance to catch all sorts of goodness in those little pockets there. This is how D’Angelos does it. They put cranberry sauce on the other slice of bread. You’re creating a sweet and savory trap here. I’m going to add a little bit of green onion right to that cranberry side. So, you get the sweet, you get the crunch, the flavor combination is great. Plain for my partner. Add the stuffing right to the turkey. As much or as little as you want. If it doesn’t have the stuffing, don’t bother. Lightly oil your pan. I’m just doing a foil line pan that goes into my air fryer. It’s going to help prevent sticking. It’s going to give that bread a nice crisp on the outside. And now we’re just going to paint some happy little sandwiches. Right into the air fryer or the oven. You just want to toast everything up. Not too much. All it took was 5 minutes. Now that is what I’m talking about. You got to have the gravy. This is so good.
