I bought these oreos in a normal UK supermarket so I was quite surprised to find Hebrew text on the packaging. It seems that it has to do with the promo being run as the text instructs the reader to scan the QR code to participate (סרוק להשתתפות) and informs that prizes can be won (זוכים בפרסים\*\*), albeit with asterisks that are in no way elaborated upon on the packaging itself. AFAIK this is not intended for sale in Israel (as imported oreos are mostly for exotic flavours) and it's definitely local packaging not Israeli because it lacks the distinctive features of Israeli food packaging (specifically nutrition warnings and kosher certification) and has UK specific packaging features. So what gives?
