The word ‘kouzina’ means kitchen in Greek and the restaurant has opened for business at owner Demetris Demetriou’s former premises La Cucina on Uphill Way.

Kouzina will be offering a menu of Mediterranean-influenced breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
And Demetris teased: “There will be a mix of fish and steak dinners to enjoy with a little bit of a Mediterranean twist.”
The restaurant will be open from Tuesdays to Sunday from 9am until 1.30pm for breakfast and lunch. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, it will be open for dinner from 6pm until 9pm.
At lunchtime on Sundays throughout the summer, Demetris will also be firing up his grill for a Greek-style barbecue.
