part one in my basics of cooking series where I teach you the fundamentals of cooking so your time in the kitchen is much easier and more enjoyable today we’re going over how to make garlic confi pour a ton of peeled garlic into an oven safe pot cover with olive oil or avocado oil and add some rosemary and thyme place in a 250°ree oven for 2 hours so it’s nice and jammy and fork tender cooking garlic low and slow in this aromatic oil makes it soft caramelizes the sugars and makes it sweet and is delicious to spread on toast add to salad dressings and I even like to put it into a food processor and puree it into a paste which makes like a great spread for sandwiches shakuri boards you name it chefs almost always have this on hand and follow for more on the series and comment what you want to

Do you throw away the olive 🫒 oil?? Or use it for other things. Seems like it would be great to cook with added flavor!
