So I tried to cook steak for the third time and it turns out to be very pink like here, I am not sure if it’s rare or medium rare, and if beef rump should be cooked that way

It looks great ! I’ve never eaten rump roast med rare before but as long as it’s got a good crust on the outside and it’s fairly tender than I’d say it’s a win ! The potatoes look yummy as well !!

Man, that looks tasty as heck to me. Good sear. Nice temperature inside. 👍

  4. Looks like almost perfect medium rare to me – nice work!

Did you enjoy it? That’s the most important part

Nope, looks beautiful. If you want you could get a meat thermometer to cook it how you want more consistently.

Looks almost perfect! I can’t taste it, so I can’t give a perfect score! Nicely done!

Third time? Bravo! That looks like you’ve caught on quickly with the steak cooking thing! I’d eat that right now!

Don’t know anything about proper but this is cooked perfectly for me?

Depends how you eat your steak to answer that question.

Is it the level of doneness that you like, but not well done. Then, yes it is cooked properly.

Yum.. I mean, “terrible, just terrible”. Give it to me, I’ll take care of it 😏

That looks like a perfect med-rare. Just like Crom intended.

Meat thermometers do not lie. Unless they’re broke, so get a good one.

  16. Yes. Properly cooked. Improperly served.

Like a lot like the London Broil I made in the grill last night for our 4th of July BBQ!

I would hammer that down in a second! I’m eating the few pieces of cold leftovers today! 😋

    Yours looks delicious! 🤤
