Rarely do I open more than one bottle in a night. Let alone two very different ones.

Sixth sense Syrah 2019 (first wine with dinner)

Enjoyed this with homemade BBQ cheeseburgers and baked sweet potatoes.

Classic dark purple syrah color

Very jammy nose. I'm feeling blue and dark red fruit. Plum, black cherry, cassis, tobacco.

Has a little bit of oak I can smell as well.

Very nice tannins, I didn't decant/or aerate at all, and it's very approachable.

Such a nice taste! Very jammy, lots of blueberry and black cherry. Has a little hint of vanilla as well. Just a hint of the black pepper right off the back end.

2024 Saintly Sauvignon Blanc (second wine of the night)

Enjoyed this with some leftover vanilla cake we had for my daughter's 4th birthday in the park today.

Pale straw.

Floral bouquet on the nose. I can't really pick out anything particular. But very floral. Nice and fruity. Lemon and grapefruit are the two that really stick out to me. Maybe pear?

Medium body, little bit creamy. Dry / off dry. Lots of acidity, super crisp!

Citrus and Tropical fruit. Lemon and green apple. Pineapple. Very nice.
