UK's in the middle of a shortage rn and it's hard to find decent deens in olive oil anywhere (Waitrose's are pretty good for the price though). Sainsbury's usually stocks Parmentier which are my daily go-to, but the shelves are practically empty.

PSA for those looking for Parmentier in the UK: Ocado is your answer. Apparently they're in stock on their website. Got a whole bunch of them (plus a little La Brujula as a treat). Only downside is the minimum order amount of £40 to qualify for delivery but it's not a huge deal if you're buying a lot.

Unfortunately, Ocado has yet to deliver to my area. *sob*

So I rely on Sainsbury’s, Tesco, and Waitrose online. My medium sized city centre Sainsbury’s has finally gotten some sardines in…but only in water. Yesterday I had a tin of M and S skinless and boneless with lemon. I found them to be rather dry and had to mix them with homemade mayo.

In the meantime, I’m loving various types of herring from the big Polish shop in town.
