This just looks like traditional way fish or chicken and chips is eaten.

You got a wooden plate right there. Seems like you had a choice of plastic too.

    Perfectly happy with this.

    Board, greaseproof paper, all good.

You would rather hear the scratching sound of knife on a plate?

I was so confused at first because I thought the paper was on the bare table and I couldn’t figure out how it was served to them. Then I realized it was on a separate board (lighter wood of the other one made that clear) and it made sense.

I’m still not a fan of flat wooden boards but the use of the paper makes it less questionable.

But goddammit, now I want schnitzel.

Imo its a rather smart little way to show that the food isnt drenched in grease 😅can you imagine how the paper would look in the uk/us
