The space will be the fifth Indaco restaurant for the group, with locations in Charleston (where the company is based), Atlanta, Charlotte and Greeneville, South Carolina.

The Indaco menu will focus on Italian cuisine, mostly pastas and pizzas. The restaurant serves a brunch, with an Italian slant, and offers happy hour Mondays-Fridays from 5-7 p.m.

Texas-based restaurant to open in 12South

A coffee shop with a social-activism theme is slated to open in 12South.

According to a permit, Dallas-based La La Land will take space in Turnbridge Equities’ mixed-use development Ashwood 12South, located at 2212 12th Ave. S.

The cafe will be the parent company’s 15th location, though the Post was unable to determine an opening date. Parent company La La Land Foundation operates seven La La Lands in Dallas, three in Houston and five in Los Angeles.

La La Land Foundation, which began as We Are One in 2017, seeks to “provide valuable support and opportunities for fostering youth and individuals in need,” according to the company website. The site notes La La Land cafes offer paid internships specifically designed to help youth transition from foster care into adulthood.

The La La Land menu focuses on coffee-based drinks and breakfast items, such as avocado toast and fruit toasts.
