French brasserie Le Depot will celebrate Bastille Day this year with French food, games and music on Saturday, 1-8 p.m., at the restaurant, located at 660 Main Street on the corner of Main and Heber Ave.

Bastille Day commemorates the the storming of the Bastille prison on July 14, 1789, a pivotal event that ignited the French Revolution.

The event will be open to the public and free for all ages. Le Depot will offer French food and beverage stations for purchase in the plaza, including fruits de mer (seafood selections) and French classics such as croque monsieurs, lobster croques and la grillade brochettes.

The brasserie will also serve its regular 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. brunch and 5:30-10 p.m. dinner menus during normal hours of operation.

Union Patisserie will also run an ice cream stand in the plaza from 1-4 p.m. and its regular menu 7 a.m.-7 p.m., which includes coffee, pastries, wine, beer, sodas, grab-n-go offerings and sweets.

The Take 5 Quartet will play French-inspired Jazz from 1-4 p.m. The quartet has played in Park city since 2006 and said it offers a “smooth and spicy style of great standards in Jazz.” From 5-7 p.m., Miss DJ Luxe will spin energetic French tunes.

Plus, the brasserie’s pétanque court will be open, with space for other French-inspired games, too, the restaurant said.
