Has anyone successfully made these at home? I’d love to hear a recommendation for oven time and temperature

Not in the oven, but in the microwave. Time varies depending on your wattage, but you can try with 50% power and nuke the crisps by 20 seconds increments until you reach the texture you want.

I would guess they are freeze dried.

Buy leftover cuttings / rinds of parm reggie cheese for cheap at a cheese shop. Scrape the waxy exeterior portion a bit.
Put on a silicone mat, try keep the thickness at about 3mm or 1/8″, and microwave a handful at a time in 10-15s burst intervals. 30s they will burn.
Will puff up like popcorn. I get a bag for 4$ Cnd that has and I make like 4x the quantity for about the same price. I also eat them as-is like gum.
Sometimes the employees are lazy and cut too thick, you get a lot of good parm cheese with a bit of work.
