There’s something exciting cooking in Endicott, literally. The team behind The Kitchen Counter is stepping into the space formerly known as Antonio’s Bar and Trattoria with big dreams, fresh ideas, and a love for all things Italian. The new restaurant, Di Cotta’s, will open this fall at 100 Oak Hill Avenue, right across from the brand new Concordia.
From Antonio’s to Di Cotta’s
Back in early 2024, longtime restaurateur Antonio Gobbo made the tough decision to close his doors after 18 years of serving the community. Antonio’s wasn’t just a restaurant, it was a cornerstone of Endicott’s Little Italy. While it was hard to say goodbye, the spirit of the space is far from gone. It’s being reimagined by a new generation that’s already making waves on Main Street.
Meet the Team Bringing the Heat
Marc, Aaron, and Chris are the friendly, food-loving crew behind The Kitchen Counter and they’re taking the reins and breathing new life into the space with their new venture. On Facebook, they shared their excitement:
“The Endicott community has welcomed us with open arms here on Main St, and we’ve built incredible ties in our short tenure. Nothing brings us more joy than being able to serve good food to the people in our community.”
Modern Italian With a Heartfelt Twist
So, what can you expect at Di Cotta’s? While they haven’t released a full menu yet, if The Kitchen Counter is any indication, it’s going to be bold, fresh, and made with love. Think: elevated Italian classics with a modern edge. These guys know how to mix tradition with creativity and they do it without losing that homemade feel.

A Tribute to Community and Culture
Opening Di Cotta’s isn’t just about food. It’s about honoring the roots of Endicott’s North Side and continuing the legacy of local Italian cuisine. The name may have changed, but the heart behind it is the same: great food, served with pride, in a place where everyone feels like family.
Coming Soon, and Worth the Hype
With Concordia opening right across the street this Friday, Oak Hill Ave is about to feel more alive than ever. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Antonio’s or just looking for a new local favorite, Di Cotta’s is one to watch. Endicott’s food scene is leveling up, and this crew is leading the charge.
