welcome back to Spice of Christ flavor from our savior it’s your hungry homie Maria Lavi and today we’re going to make bacon egg and cheese from scratch the bacon egg and cheese sandwich is inspired by the bacon egg and Jesus design that I made okay and that’s why we’re making it today so let’s get started we’re making two Kaiser buns recipe is in the description if you want four double it if you want eight ask Jesus to multiply it but really just quadruple the recipe okay poured by the Messiah Metroard mug let’s start with 60 g of warm water 95° F to be exact 2.7 g of dry active yeast 3 g of sweet honey now put that on the side let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes let the yeast wake up from the t like your soul meeting Jesus okay while it’s doing its thing we handle the dry stuff 150 g of allpurpose flour 3 g of sea salt this salt is unique though it comes in a bottle that says minced onion with the cap that says oregano all right moving on next a little sugar about 3 g just enough to remind the flour that God is so sweet now we crack one egg with one hand that’s right look at me i’m a professional then 9 g of softened butter now yes I probably should have waited to add this after mixing in the egg and yeast but God still works with my two brain cells all right let’s mix up all the ingredients it should look shaggy like this next we take out our silicone mat sprinkle some flour on it and now start kneading that dough like you need Jesus knead it till it’s nice and smooth now place that little dough baby in a bowl let it rise pray over it tuck it in read it some Bible stories if you like while our dough is catching some Z’s let’s go hunt for some bacon but first let’s kick my husband down the stairs real quick and here we go look at all that bacon i was originally going to use regular bacon all of the bacon had that one ingredient I was trying to avoid called nitrates so why bacon on the design Maria well not every food is perfect that’s why we eat in moderation we got to protect our temples right so today we rolling with turkey bacon simple ingredients all right let’s wake up our beautiful dough punch it down lovingly of course divide the dough into two parts roll and flatten slice the dough into that classic Kaiser shape i used a cookie cutter first but then a knife on the second one then I had to go back and fix the first one cuz it was bothering me now let them rest again their second nap should be 30 minutes and while waiting preheat that oven to 375 okay time to egg wash them and sprinkle on those little cute poppy seeds right from the original jar no funny business and then now into the oven for 15 to 18 minutes or until a glorious golden brown as they cool off let’s make that bacon i air fry mine so it’s a little crispy pop it in the oven 350 for about 10 to 12 minutes all right bacon’s done now let’s get our eggs going mix mix mix mix pour it in smack some cheese in there i recommend the classic real American cheese don’t get those sliced packaged ones but I only had cheddar cheese and we’re going to use what the Lord provided already okay let’s fold it in we’re going to flip it once from sin to saved woo now cut your bun in half 3 2 1 egg bacon cheese stack it up wrap it in foil because that’s how you know it’s legit cut it in half and boom your oozy gooey cheese kind of now I give this sandwich that I’ve made for my bare hands a 9.5 why why not a perfect 1010 well I forgot to pray but other than that it was divine and I had this for dinner so I had to have my salad on the side don’t forget your salad i love you guys stay hungry homies [Music]
