I usually stew chicken to make BBQ pulled meat style stuff, so bouillon and BBQ sauce.

i’m basic. i usually just brine split breasts or leg quarters and roast them. sometimes save the carcasses to make soup if i feel like soup that week.

Mustard is great for seasoning. Pork, chicken, beef even.
Its salted, has vinegar…

Lemongrass grilled chicken sounds delicious! I like a mix of sour, spicy and sweet flavour profile and for a simple grilled chicken i like to use a mix of lime/lemon juice, soy sauce, honey, and chili flakes/chopped chili peppers

Mmmm… 😋 I’m getting hungry now…
Maybe a squirt of sauce on the chicken, and I would have made a turmeric rice, say, sautee some yellow onion and garlic in the rice pot and throw in the rice and water. Get it boiling, turn heat down, and throw in about a tsp. of turmeric for every 4-6 servings of rice (make it nice and yellow). Add a handful of golden raisins. Stir, cover, and finish as usual. Top it with chopped green onions, sliced almonds or whatever…
Not a classic combo, but even with the hoisin profile, the plate makes me think ‘shawarma’ 🤔

I like sesame oil, but chili oil is good too
