Went to whole foods grabbed a dry aged ribeye, so the pressure was on. Did I at least do semi decent?

That’s how steak should be cooked

Edit only other bonus points would be to use tongs real quick and a high seer and render the fat cap, but that’s just me.

While I like my steak more rare, I’d crush that. Nice 👏🏻

  3. Isn’t that medium rare? You can see visible red in the center.

Regardless, that’s pretty much perfect for how I like my steak done! Great job

Looks delicious! Definitely cooked medium rare

  5. Looks really good, but im not sure why so many are saying you hit medium. It’s closer to medium rare, at least the middle is.

Mouth watering! Beautiful 😍 chefs kiss!

Arguably medium rare but I think this looks awesome!

Is this the optimal crust? If I did that I would’ve thought I burned the steak. Do you want some blackened char? (Absolutely no shade on OP as I would devour this, just asking a question.)

I’d eat that faster than you could make another.

Ok, do i need an open flame to get a crust like that?

What was the cooking method? If you asked me to describe my ideal steak it would look like that.

Beautiful medium rare+ imo. Thanks for sharing and exactly how I like the center of my steaks cooked too.

  13. That sear is perfect. I’d manhandle that bad boy.
