there’s a scientific reason why these floppy bad boys make the best grilled cheese you’ll ever eat everyone knows you got to go with plenty of butter some good quality bread plenty of that good floppy stuff and of course grill it low and slow [Music] me oh now the reason you get that beautiful creaminess right there isn’t because the cheese is plastic it’s not because the cheese is fake it’s because of a beautiful miracle chemical called sodium citrate that is completely safe to consume that binds water with fat molecules and all American cheese is is cheese mixed with milk that’s why it’s always going to melt at this beautiful perfect consistency oh she’s nice stop being afraid of science cheers

  1. yeah i'll pass. the flavor just isn't good, and the texture feels as if someone warmed canned nacho cheese. and some brands the flavor it's too bland for being the main/only cheese

  2. I've unfortunately had a true plastic American grilled cheese sandwich.
    My father forgot to take the protective plastic film off.

  7. I love that you call american "cheese" cheese. Like all things made in american, it's garbage and not really suitable for eating. I guess I should not be suprised, garbage food, for garbage people, or a garbage country.

  8. I love these cheeses on burgers but theres no way ill use them in a grilled cheese. I want my grilled cheese to taste like cheese so I'll stick with my Cheddar, Red Leicester and Mozzarella mix. Cant deny the melting ability of american cheese though.

  9. Yeah, but American "processed pasteurised cheese product" is not really cheese at this point, is it?

  10. You can also use this chemical with aged cheeses for grilled cheese as it doesn't let it separate into an oily mess
