Welcome to My Soup Series where I’m sharing some of my most popular soups to get you through winter once it’s officially cold and dreary out this lemon chicken orzo soup is one of the first ones I crave sauté and onion two carrots and two stocks of celery in some olive oil until they’re tender then stir in a few cloves of minced garlic until fragrant pour in eight cups of chicken broth then add in two boneless chicken breasts a few fresh sprigs of thyme a bay leaf 1 teaspoon salt and a teaspoon of pepper bring the soup to a boil cover it and then reduce the heat to a gentle bubble simmer for about 15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and then transfer it to a cutting board and shred it add it back to the pot along with one cup of uncooked orzo pasta continue simmering for about 10 more minutes until the orizo is cooked and tender stirring occasionally so it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pot then you’re going to discard the thyme and Bee leaf and stir in juice from one large lemon it’s so delicious for the detailed written recipe and Proper Storage there is a Link in my bio or you can always go directly to my website at belly full.net enjoy

I am adding ginger parsley and kale only cause we are very very sick and we need it packed with some nutrients. This is the 5th recipe of yours I am making after only subscribing for 2 weeks.
