My neighbor and I dragged back this old Weber on 4th of July night. We talked to the kids shooting off fireworks at the house and got the back story on it. They bought the parents a new grill and it belonged to the grandparents prior to that. It’s 1999-2000 Weber Performer Deluxe I believe but not positive. Let me know what you think.

Just imagining some guy stepping out his front door with a bag of charcoal and quickly having a confused look on his face.
It’s not worth much, but if you need a grill and it works, why not?!
How much do you want for it?
Hot skibbidy-doo!
That thing is awesome. My dad has one from like 1995. Whenever they first made the performer. He finally burned out the kettle so Weber sent him a new kettle to replace it.
Wonder why…
Can someone explain what I’m looking at in pic 2?
Have one I bought new over 30 years back! It’s awesome. Does your propane starter still work?
That’s nice for free! It is missing the bottom wire rack and a few hooks. You can check under the starter panel for a serial number sticker. I bought my first Weber just like this a few months ago for $80. Propane starter works for me – just press down hard on the button, having propane left in the tank is another story.
Just bring it to the curb Trevor. Than it’s garbage and we can take it
That was my first performer. Great setup
You can decode the year of mfg by the stamp on the vent.

Nice find
I think it looks great! Probably needs some parts, but that’s simple enough. I don’t use one currently, but a Weber kettle is its various forms is one of the best pieces of kit you can have.
Guarantee that propane tank is expired.
Just needs a good home and lots of hugs and kisses.
