Just defrosted the meat, seared it in a cast iron pan, and cooked it on low in a crock pot for a few hours.
Barbacoa sauce was a can of chipotles in adobo, onion, garlic and veggie broth.

Oh this stuff creeps me out, i don’t like anything that tastes too much like meat but would love your review because I’m trying to get my parents to eat less meat and they’re anti-tempeh anti-tofu

  3. Label reads like some Dr. Bronners soap crazy shit.

Wow can’t believe I haven’t come across this stuff. Are you in the US? If so, did you buy it online or in-store?

never thought I would get this stuff because it didn’t seem worth the price for what you got but now I really wanna make a barbacoa!

I made cornbeef hash with the thick cut steak and it was bonkers good.

That is some dark wizardry of a product, and the meal looks great!

Really good but costly. Worth a treat occasionally.

I thought this stuff was overpriced…my (omni) partner bought some for us, and i made it the other night. Just seared in the pan per instructions on the package, then finished off with garlic butter and herbs.

It was really good! He especially liked it. I think ill try barbacoa next 🌮
