When cleaning out my crawlspace I stumbled upon a bottle of “Taylor New York pink champagne”. It looks old but does not have a year on the label. the limited information online says the manufacturer closed in 1995. Does anyone have any info about this champagne?

This was absolute plonk from day 1. The usual response is “try it”. For this one, “toss it”.

It really is one of the best pink Champagnes to ever come out of New York.

Taylor ain’t exactly Dom Perignon. Chill the fug out of it and give it a go, for Science.

With all the emphatic advice, now I’m a little curious 👀

Is this one of the producers that was grandfathered in to using the label “champagne” even though it’s from the US?

Either way, definitely open it and share some pics. I would love to see the color

Am i the only one who wishes to see it mixed with jello for the simple fun of making champagne jello?

  8. The good old days when champagne didn’t actually have to be Champagne. Like Almaden mountain burgundy or franzia Chablis lol.

Use the tartaric acid on that bottle to wash your feet.

I’d even be afraid to flush it down a toilet for what that might do to the plumbing

There are Champagnes and then there is the Pink Champagne.
