We arrived early for our reservation and were promptly accommodated. The service from beginning to end was great, which is a shortcoming of some Indian restaurants. That said, there were times that the attentiveness translated into a feeling of being rushed. Chef made the rounds. Decor was lovely. The flavor profiles of appetizers and mains were very nice. The bread and rice were meh, and while the food was good, it arrived to us room temperature, if not a tad cool, reducing the overall experience. One of our dishes was served in a chipped bowl, which caused me to raise my eyebrow. For us, Bungalow did well the flavor nuances and experiential elements but missed the mark on easy fundamentals which left us, perplexed and a little disappointed.
