It's just the Chelsea's favorite chocolate cake recipe. The one with the food processor lol

Oh, and love. A lot of love. The secret ingredient is love.

This looks amazing! & it’s not just you, although admittedly I’m from the 1900’s too. My parents always got me a fancy bakery cake & I adored them for that, but I was so secretly jealous of my best friend whose mom homemade all of her birthday cakes. They always tasted better to me!

“The 1900s”, while technically accurate, makes me feel 100 years old.

    Beautiful cake though

From the 1900’s made me laugh, thanks for that! Great looking cake.

Some of my most fond childhood memories are birthday cakes my mom would make us. Handmade birthday cakes are so special. The one you made is beautiful!

This looks so cool!! My 9 year old is also obsessed with Minecraft so I need to know – how did you achieve the textured square effect??

YOU THREW A CREEPER INTO A FUCKING FOOD PROCESSOR???!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?

Homemade is so special. Made with love. I make all my kids cakes

The 1900s comment is hilarious. Lovely cake dude, the best I’ve seen in so long!

Minecraft!! Play Mice On Venus and make everyone cry and sing happy birthday!

Also I haven’t heard anyone say “the special ingredients is love” in so long, I know you’re a great person just by that sentence. Really warmed my heart.

I’m very jealous. Can you make one that says 28 and host my next birthday party?

Oh my goodness, I thought it was flocked. It’s gorgeous!

How is it this wow😲 Any recipe to follow?

  13. This is what some people just don’t get. I’d rather have a homemade basic cake that someone has spent an hour of their time to make every time. I don’t care if the decoration is rubbish (im not referring to your cake here, yours is awesome), its the thought and the love that has gone into it. You can keep your £100 cutom baked cakes and your industrial preservatives tasting shop bought cakes, homemade for the win!

I am also from the 1900s (when we churned our own butter and walked to school up hill both ways)…

And I decided I’m making my birthday cake this year.

    Homemade bday cake is best!!!!

I love making my kids birthday cakes, they start planning what they want like nine months before their birthdays lol

  16. WomanInQuestion

I love the cake. Must admit, hearing it phrased as “the 1900s” aged me about 50 years 😆

House rule is that no one makes their own birthday cake, and most are home made. Not always perfect cakes, but you can’t beat the feeling of someone making one for you.

“i’m from the 1900s”- me, born in the last half of 1999, to my friends born in 2000

Homemade is the best! I’m always so disappointed when I’m too busy to bake and we end up with a store bought one.
