Short review- All of the main dishes were good but if I had to pick one, my favorite was probably the trout. For smaller plates, my favorite was either the sourdough or if I can look past the price; the pita. Favorite dessert was the Camembert Cheesecake but all were good. Nothing I disliked outside of maybe thinking the baklava sundae was a bit too deconstructed. Hard to get into for a really good reason.

Looks pretty legit ngl
I loved this place but not the dessert
These photos are incredible! And love this spot – wish it wasn’t so hard to book
their sourdough is insanely good! misi could never
One of the best newest restaurants not just in Brooklyn but all of nyc.
Is that a turtle
The trout salad looks a bit oddly balanced. Was it over cooked?
I’ve had the lamb twice and personally I was disappointed. Love all the fish stuff, any grilled veggie, and the camembert cheesecake goes crazy
How’d she taste?
I love whole bronzino but calling it “bone in” is one of the dumbest menu descriptions I’ve ever heard
Theodora was by far the best hyped up, hard to get into restaurant I’ve dined at in the last year and a half or so. Great pics.

Thanks for posting. Perfect length review and descriptions with the prices on the photos. I applaud this format
Nice photos! Looks really good. Thanks for sharing!
Looks good! Should I add this on my to-go list?
This place looks great. Thx for sharing.
you don’t seem very enthused
I thought the food was good but the price point was pretty high vs portion size. Felt like they were using the cooking method, which high is pretty standard in many parts of the world, as a gimmick.
Personally won’t be rushing back.
Everything looks gooood and thanks for including the captions with the pictures! 🥰 what cocktails did you have? I see something that looks like a spicy marg (my favorite)
Don’t know why your comment isn’t loading on my end u/jalapeno10 I had a glass of the Zaboglia Txakolina which was an interesting Basque sparkling white wine which was a bit funky/minerally. Wasn’t worth the S16 as bottles are cheap but it went with the meal.
Another person tried 2 cocktails. They liked the Mezamaica (a mezcal milk punch) but they found the La Cigua (said spicy margarita) a bit spicy for them even as far as said type of cocktail.
I went two Sundays ago on my trip to NYC and it might have been my favorite meal of the trip, that or Cocina Consuelo. We got the: Hiramasa Crudo, sourdough, Za’atar Kubaneh, broccolini, steelhead trout, chicken, chocolate cake and some cocktails. Honestly, we loved everything besides the chocolate cake which we thought was just fine.
This place was fine, it didn’t wow me, but was fine. I think the most annoying part of my experience was the waitress trying to get us to order more and not letting up on it, even though I told her we already had a light bite before as it was a 10:00pm reservation. We’d already ordered a bottle of wine and multiple drinks so it wasn’t like the tab was lacking. Turned me off to the place, hopefully my experience was a one off.

i really enjoyed Theodora and one of the few crazy hard reservation spots that may actually be worth it but will hands down always choose their other spot, Miss Ada for dinner.
