The New York Racing Association will partner with local and regional supermarket chain Market 32 and Price Chopper during the summer meet at Saratoga Race Course to benefit the Regional Food Bank.

Each time the three horse wins the second race on the afternoon’s card, Market 32 and Price Chopper and Polar Beverages will donate 1,000 meals to the Regional Food Bank.

The initiative will be promoted throughout the summer and conclude on Labor Day, the final day of racing, when representatives from Market 32 and Price Chopper and Polar Beverages will present a check for the grand total of meals to be donated to the Regional Food Bank.

“NYRA is pleased to play a role in this creative initiative spearheaded by Market 32 to address food insecurity in the region,” said Robert Hines, NYRA Community Affairs Manager. “It is always gratifying when area businesses and organizations can use Saratoga Race Course as a platform to advance the work of charities that do so much for our communities.”
