Hot take: a donut shop should not be by a gym maybe?
Mochinut and Los Campeones gym at The Linc strip mall close to ACC on Airport Blvd (North Austin).
P.S. A salad bar would make more sense.

So are you arguing for even more zoning laws to protect gyms? Not sure how well that would work for strip mall landlords that already struggle with lengthy vacancies

Yeah, but who got there first?
PhilosophyWithJosh
how would they even enforce this. why would they even enforce this.

Dude what

You… don’t have to go in if you don’t want to? Maybe we should make sure there aren’t any donut shops on the drive back home from the gym either just to be safe.

Idk seems like they probably have record breaking sales every January 2nd when people are going to sign up for their New Year’s resolution at the gym

Or maybe it should.

Of all the takes…THIS is your hill? You open the salad bar then. Or support both businesses. Let local businesses do their thing.

Better get rid of the crab boil place next door too. And the Tex mex, and the Peruvian place across the parking lot, and Easy Tiger, AND don’t forget about the Pluckers!
Don’t want to risk anyone seeing a calorie in the same block as the gym.

Not sure why people are so annoyed by this take. Every time I go to the Linc I think about how ironic it is! Not sure what business came first but I too find it amusing.
This is how I find out I don’t need to be driving all the way to Hana World market for mochinut

You do NOT want to know what’s literally connected to Bird Bird on Manor, then.

It’s mochi donuts so gluten free and not very sweet. If having a donut this is probably the least bad donut you can get
BarStar787
There’s a Shipley donuts next to the place I take exercise classes at. Hard to find a parking spot on Saturday mornings when so many more people are picking up donuts then coming to work out. Lol

Sounds like a you problem my dude

You worked out…and now, you deserve a donut.

I’m so curious what your thought process was when making this post. How do you think they decide what businesses go into the Linc?
TxBeerWorldwide
The Linc has enough issue keeping businesses there without being picky
