Love my espresso machine, but I still find myself going back to the Bialetti moka every once in a while. Simple and great way to start the day.
I've also tried a lot of different beans and I've only enjoyed 100% arabica beans with my moka so far, not the case at all on my espresso machine. What beans do you guys use with your moka and any recommendations for me?

Did the same this morning too! Having an upgraded grinder since last time I used the Bialetti, I was very happy with the outcome.
Nope, never looking back

Yes! Every time I camp which is often!
I’m thinking of going back to a basic single boiler with a pressurized PF.
Even better, a SIMPLE all-in-one.
Why, cuz I find it sometimes DIFFICULT and MESSY, to use the separates + UNpressurized PF in the morning.
I am trying to wake up, and my head is “fuzzy.” I want EASY.
Just look at all the “I need caffeine to make caffeine” posts.
Heresy.
Eh, not really a moka fan. It’s not good espresso and it’s not good coffee. I’m not sure what exactly it makes…but it’s not good.
Not too often at home these days but I do every time I camp! I’m very nostalgic for moka pot espresso since this was the standard for my parents and grandparents.
I was house-sitting for a friend recently and they took their aero press, no espresso but had a big ol moka pot in the cabinet and man was it nice. I stopped using mine when I moved to a place without a gas range. I know it’s possible but it’s so much less enjoyable to me with electric burners. Was a damn good week of coffee though
Yes I do, also the wife refuses to learn the espresso machine. So I have a Melita pour over. I have an aeropress for traveling. And a French press that is a super duper backup. The Melita has been purchased 3 times due to falling damage.
Everyday at 2pm.
Percolator coffee is my favorite tbh.

This reminds me to get another moka pot. Mine rusted out to kingdom come
All my espresso equipment investment went into the espresso bar at my shop.
At home I have MokaPot, Phin Filters, and French Press.
And now also a Kingrinder K2 so I don’t have to bring home pre-ground from the shop.
I get bored easily. I’m always trying to find ways to try new things or mix it up 🙂 Phins are my newest toy so I’m having a lot of fun with that.
I got one as a backup, was planning on taking my machine apart to add PID
Made coffee in it once.
I switched my mourning cup to a French press, which I then filter through papper. Espresso is now mostly a weekend thing for me.
No, I’m not into self abuse.
That’s my travel espresso.
I tried Moka and Aeropress but was not impressed. I tried chemex and fell in love. Amazing coffee!
No good on induction hob.
My ocd wanting to see a little a slower extraction and flame diffuser below the Bialetti 😆🦋
Not really a fan of moka pot coffee. I do like the occasional v60 or aeropress though.
Allllllll the time. I ❤️ my moka pot!
Not me…
My moka pot is very dusty, so no lol.
