At least it’s about 10 degrees cooler in the shade. 🤣. I could wait until the evening and smoke the brisket overnight when the lows are in the 90’s.

  1. Dude, get (or build) a solar oven. It doesn’t impart smoke flavor, but they are really fun.

Yep out here the grill is already warmed up before you start it

You’re basically “cold smoking” yourself just standing outdoors next to your smoker.

it’s only 100* here today, and I’m smoking some goodies and was thinking it’s fucking hot I wonder if anyone else is as diehard as me?🤔

    Well…. You answered my question😅

It requires noticeably less fuel to run the grill in the summer…….

  7. It’s done. You can pull the Sun now and wrap it in foil. Don’t use paper because duh, it will burn.

I can’t decide if smoking in the extreme heat or cold is worse. Anything over 105 and I lose interest quick unless can’t get fire started well before the heat starts

  9. I’m in Philly and I actually have your city saved to my weather app bc whenever I’m feeling like man this is the WORST I scroll over to phoenix I’m suddenly 95 degrees ain’t so bad.

Man I was being a whiny baby about being next to my grill while it was 80 yesterday 😂

I’m in England and my WSM was registering 75c earlier (167f) – a few more degrees and something to make the wood smoke and you’d have free bbq!

  13. Rude_Donut_3804

That’s almost a good temp for smoking salmon 😂.

You’re brave, this heat wave has been kicking my ass this summer

Just throw the brisket on the pavers for 2 days and you’ll be good
