Good morning everybody and welcome to Tea Tuesday. That’s right, Tea Tuesday. I’m drinking out of my cup here. I love this cup that Elma got me. Got Sam Man’s Anyways, and um I have ginger ale this morning. And this is an open collaboration and it’s hosted by Patty. Life with Patty. I better get a drink before I start cuz I’m pretty thirsty this morning. Good ginger ale. Oh yes, Siri. Okay, what I have for you is a different cookbook with some great recipes in it. It’s called Quick Meals Cookbook and is by Loren Foing and it looks like I was reading in this book and I didn’t know that Ideals, you know, the magazine Ideals, Ideals put this cookbook out right there. This is an older book. It was published uh let’s see it’s got copyrights and all that. It does not say but it’s an older book. Let’s put it that way. Um, I got this book from um Rey, a client, a client, one of Ray co-workers, brought in a bunch of cookbooks and said, “Hey, my wife cleaned out her cookbooks. She no longer uses cookbooks.” So Ray found a couple and he picked up this one. The back of it says, “Do you want to spend less time in the kitchen?” Oh yeah, and more time with your family. Family is everything to me. Quick Meal Cookbooks fit fits tasty nutrition into today’s busy schedules. In addition to flavor, each of our planned menus offers an organized shopping lift and a recommend recommended preparation sequence. In less than an hour, you can serve exciting meals such as I want something 30 minutes or less. And they name off a bunch. Beef stroganov, spinach, bacon, French uh fresh fruit. So, let’s see what I’ve come up with. As you could see, I come up with a few. And um let’s start with a short one and kind of move on. I thought this one was good and yummy. It’s a chocolate peanut sauce. I’m slumping. This couch makes me slump. I’m sorry. Um 3/4 uh 34 cups of milk, 1/3 cup of sugar, two squares of semieet chocolate, a half a cup of chunky style peanut butter, vanilla ice cream. Yum, yum. Makes about 1 and 1/2 cups. In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, and chocolate. Bring to a bowl. Stir constantly. Remove from heat using a whisk. Blend in the peanut butter. Stir occasionally as a sauce cools. Sauce will thicken as it cools. Serve warm or cold over ice cream. If sauce is is if the sauce is too thick. When cold, stir in a little water. That sounds pretty yummy. Um, I really like peanut buster parfets and we make them here, but I like the ice cream from Dairy Queen. So, every now and then we’ll go into the city an hour away just to get a Dairy Queen for me. Yeah, Ray’s pretty good about doing that. Okay, let’s see what else caught my eye. Lots caught my eye, but something I like to share with you. Um, let’s see that one. There’s so many good ones in here. What’s this one? Stirred rice pudding. How many make rice pudding? Well, that was the big deal back in the day. Oh, you tired, girl. That’s a big yarn there. Yeah. Two eggs beaten. Uh, one cup of milk, a4 cup of sugar, four cup of raisins, one cup of cooked rice, one teaspoon of vanilla, a dash of salt, and a dash of cinnamon. Maggie’s laying down on my leg. And oops, she just heard her name. She poked up. She’s all ears now. In a saucepan, combine the eggs, milk, sugar, and raisins. Cook and stir over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes or until the mixture coats a metal spoon. Remove from heat. Stir in the rice, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon. Spoon into a dessert dish. Chill until serving. My dad likes this, but he likes it without the raisins. I like raisins. I like everything. Put food in front of me. I’m like, “Oh, yeah.” Let’s see with that one. Ooh, I thought this one was pretty darn good. I’m making this chocolate marshmallow pudding. It makes four servings. 10 marshmallows. A4 of a cup of milk. One bar 3 and 34 ouncez of milk chocolate. One container 4 oz of frozen whipped dessert topping and thawed in top of a double boiler or however you want to melt everything. Heat the marshmallow milk over hot water until melted. Add the chocolate. Stir in until the chocolate is smooth. Transfer into a metal bowl. Chill in the refrigerator about 15 minutes or until the cool until cooled, stirring occasionally. Fold in the whipped topping. Spoon into dessert dishes. Place in the freezer until serving time. Doesn’t that sound yummy yummy in this Grammy’s tummy? Oh yeah. Let’s see if we can find one more. Now, this one was a little different. This is called Swiss cheese soup. I like Swiss cheese, especially on hamburgers. 3 tablespoons of butter or margarine. 1/4 cup of flour. One teas one teaspoon of instant chicken bullion granulated. A4 of a teaspoon papar and 1/2 cups of milk. Six slices of processed Swiss cheese. Now they do it in slices. One teaspoon of snip chives. I’ve got lots of chives. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan. Stir in the flour. the bullion granules and pepper. Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. 1 minute more. Stir in the cheese and chives and stir over low heat until the cheese melts. They are all yummy recipes. I will post all these recipes down in the description box. So, if you’d like to grab one, it will be there. Have a great day. God bless. And you never know what’s going to be on my videos. Bye now.
