Visited Atomic Burger tonight due to the recent posts here causing my cravings to go into overdrive.
The dry aged patty was delicious with great flavor as expected. My friend's normal patty space cadet burger was pretty good too but didn't have the depth of flavor. The toppings including chunky tomato were fine but I thought the pickles were sliced too finely, but that's personal preference.
The onion rings were good but not exactly as I hoped. I was hoping for more of a batter type ring, like great burger kitchen used to do, but these were different, with a more fine granular panko-like coating with salt and pepper. They had a satisfying crunch, but, only 6 rings in the order. They were good though. The $18 combo includes a can of pop.
The location is great for picnics in greenwood park. There is no seating yet. I'll try the falafel burger next time and maybe have room for their cream pie after.
