If you want to maintain the quality of the strain, isolating pollination for seed stock is important. I obtained these seeds from a Mexican competition grower over a decade ago and the results never change. Source good seeds, then always isolate a few flowers to fruit, label these fruit and collect the seed once the fruit is fully ripe. Remember – unripe fruit contains no viable seed..

Can you add some details about how you isolate the flowers and label the fruit? Do you bag the flowers?

They look extremely spicy. I’ve been told that you can tell how spicy a Jalapeño is my the veining/corking. The more veins, the spicier the pepper. Do you know that to be factual?
