
I eat this at least once a week. So flavorful and so satiating.
(10', 2 servings )
Okonomiyaki pancake base:
2 tbsp ground flaxseed
2 tbsp Almond flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt & pepper & any herb or spices to taste
2 tbsp cream cheese
2 tbsp water
2 medium eggs
8 oz. Shredded cabbage
A handful of chopped onions
Toppings:
Keto BBQ sauce
Shredded mozzarella
Bacon
- Mixed all the pancake ingredients together in a mixing bowl and set aside.
- Cook the bacon to your liking and take them out out on a plate , leave the bacon grease in the pan.
- Pour the cabbage pancake batter into the same pan cook it on both sides until golden.
- Generously brush or spread the top with keto BBQ sauce, sprinkle with shredded mozzarella, turn the heat to low, lid on until the cheese melt.
- Put the bacon back on top and slice and enjoy.

Keto Okonomiyaki Sauce
* 2 Tbsp oyster sauce
* 4 Tbsp sugar free ketchup or tomato sauce
* 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
* 1 Tsp soy sauce
* Sweetener to taste
You need to drown that in kewpie Mayo 🤤
Do you use chopped cabbage from a head of cabbage, pre shredded cabbage from a bag, or it does not really matter?
Do you soften the cabbage a bit before you mix it in or do you mix it in fully raw?

This is my current favorite cabbage recipe that I’m making every weekend. I toast 2 tbsp sesame seeds and add that as an ingredient. I turn it into a bowl meal by topping it with diced up grilled chicken. YUM

I’m excited because I have all of these ingredients on hand except the cabbage. I wonder if riced cauliflower would work as a substitute. Hmm….
