ANOTHER SUSPECT, MEKHI DEWALT JUNIOR, WAS PREVIOUSLY ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH THIS CASE. HE’S CHARGED WITH FELONY MURDER AND ATTEMPTED ROBBERY WITH A DANGEROUS WEAPON. THE CITY OF MEBANE EASING WATER RESTRICTIONS FOR BUSINESSES TODAY FOLLOWING FLOODING OF ITS WATER FACILITY THIS WEEK. AS OF THIS AFTERNOON, BUSINESSES ARE ALLOWED TO OPERATE FULLY.
