It was very gelatinous, the Worcestershire sauce didn't really penetate it, only tasted slightly off egg right at the bottom where it had congregated and I completely forgot to season it with salt and pepper. 6/10 would do again with seasoning and at least mildly pissed.

  1. I’m in too many mushroom growing spaces, I assumed it was cultivated mycelium.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that you can cook an egg in the microwave like this, though I’d want to confirm both the cook time and microwave wattage before trying this myself.

It does seem nice, and might work well with the seasoned rices.

Should have mixed some shredded cheese and perhaps even dice up some lunchmeat. That egg has sealed away everything for the Worcestershire to do anything.

I thought this was some kind of fruity pineapple pudding salad like ambrosia or something, that had been in an usual mold. What the fuck do you mean this is savory?

I often will microwave an egg into rice w/ vegetables. (Usually cauli rice and egg white, but yeah.)

    The way to do it:

    – Cook the Minute Rice first. (Or cook the steam-in-bag cauliflower rice, then measure out how much you want into a bowl or mug.)

    – Crack the egg into it, and stir it thoroughly. Make sure the yolk is broken and it’s well stirred, otherwise it can pop in the microwave.

    – Along with the egg, add any seasonings, veg, etc. you want to put in it.

    – Depending on how done you want the egg, nuke it for another 2-3 mins on high. (Or longer on medium would probably be better.)

    I’d smash that.

    Probably wouldn’t eat it though

I think the answer you were looking for was soy sauce

It looks so bad, but I kinda want a taste. At first I thought it was a fancy cheese.

This is plain laziness. You could have cooked the microwaved rice in a pan with egg and any frozen or fresh vegetables. Or microwaved the rice and egg separately before mixing it in a bowl. It would have taken you a few minutes more but you would have something more edible.
