    Last time I made these, they had a very earthy metallic taste to them. I was expecting something like beef ribs but it was more like skirt steak + liver + sucking on a penny. Just me? Bad batch? Haven’t tried since.

    Try pork cheeks if you can find them. Similar qualities to beef cheeks. Better than ribs or pulled pork in my opinion.
