Kennewick, wash — Layered Cake Artistry is hosting an Italian Day in Downtown Kennewick this weekend.

They have partnered up with local business in the downtown area to celebrate Italian heritage.

Businesses will be having everything Italian themed such as tiramisu lattes, limoncello margaritas, cannoli, and even Sicilian pizza bread.

If you aren’t a fan of Italian food, there will be Smokin’ Boar Sausages available.

Vendors such as Leon will be having a market selling Italian products.

Concetta Gulluni and her sister Elena Gavin own Layered Cake Artistry , an Italian bakery inspired from their family’s 46-year Italian bakery in Canada. They desired to bring a piece of their heritage to the community.

“I just love learning about people and learn a part of their story and you know , their culture and background. It’s just so great to be able to share our story with people. And yeah , for me, that’s kind of what this is about “said Gulluni.

“So I think part of, a big part of Italian culture is food. and Basically everything social is centered around food. So for us , the way we grew up, food is love, and you want to share that with people. ” said Gavin.

The festival will be tomorrow from 10 A.M until 7p.m.
