Hard call. If you do this there’s a good chance you’re being fired for a reason but if you’ve just been fired after setting that up – and they knew they were going to fire you when they made you set this up – then yeah fuck them honestly.
It really is a tough call because I’ve had employers metaphorically fuck me like this.
I think this is definitely acceptable behaviour if they knew they were going to fire you and they were just waiting for the “important” people to roll out of bed to do it.
Most of the lunch service is coming home with me too.
It sucks for the employees that will have to clean it up now. I doubt it’s the person who fired her. It’ll be a coworker.
Idk, like why did she get fired? Usually though, it’s supposed to be done right when you clock on, though this should honestly change to them calling you before you come in/texting you to call them if you don’t pick up.

I got fired for rolling my eyes after my new boss showed up late and complained that the breakfast bar wasn’t stocked. If you had shown up on time this would not be a problem. I feel that 7am rage. Get it girl!

Everyone here seems to think her being fired at the end of a shift is some fucked up thing to do. Can anyone explain why? I’ve been laid off after the last day of a pay period and fired on my way to clock in before. They’re basically the exact same experience. Either way you’re getting paid for your hours worked and you’re out of a job.
What this person is doing is basically unjustifiable and just a toddler tantrum that is going to hurt nobody but themselves.
