I made these cookies for my friend’s bridal shower. Her colors were dark green, black white and gold accents. I got emerald green- I feel like they’re for a Wicked party, and made by an 8 year old. The black bled, and they were supposed to be lemon- I added 2 tsp of lemon and lemon zest to the cookie, and they taste like regular. I was confident in them until the black ran.

The black was a premade one by the Cookie Countess and it’s a beautiful black, but it seems like it never fully dried- I don’t know how I would’ve overmixed it, or maybe it’s just the product.

I hate being at parties I make things for because it gives me bad anxiety that no one likes the items and they’re all lying to me 🙁

I feel your anxiety but I think they look great, definitely NOT for a Wicked party at all! The little bit of color bleed is hardly noticeable and probably no one will even notice. We’re always so hard on ourselves but in the end the cookies are loved and devoured. They’re not lying to you!

I think they look great! We are all our own worst critics.

These look fantastic and I love the shade of green! I know it didn’t turn out how you would have wanted but from an outside perspective I think these look really professionally done. The color bleed is hardly noticeable and most people wouldn’t even notice it. Your lettering looks solid. I would be super happy with these if I ordered them for my own party.
