I’ve been seeing more posts about burnt up grills and thought that won’t happen to me because I clean the grates and drip tray after every cook.
Well I decided to check under the tray to see if there was anything needing attention and boy was I glad I did. A couple years worth of pellets built up down there.

You take that thing to the beach with you?
So you have never cleaned the ash pot in two years?
Impressive.
Usually clean mine out once a month or after few really long cooks.
Isn’t that even much ash? Also doesn’t having some ash prevent burns and keep heat

I clean mine every 4-5 cooks or after one long cook.
Wait…who the hell isn’t cleaning out their smokers between each cook? Show yourselves you degens
I use mine every single weekend for meal prep. I vaccume it monthly.
we know
Easiest to do it every large bag of pellets
Supposed to clean your grills are four cooks or two long cooks
that’s about the level when i vac it out. ashes in the fire pot are really the only issue
