My mom spent $300 on a Dutch oven and made artesian bread for the first time
If there is anything we can do to improve it, friendly advice is welcome

My advice is to return the Dutch oven and get a purpose-made device, like an Emile Henry bread cloche. Half the price, better temp distribution.

What dutch oven is it? $300 is too much money for a dutch oven.

If breads all you want to do, Lodge makes a perfectly good Dutch oven.
That said a good Dutch oven is one of the more versatile and lasting dishes to own.

The best critiques here will be if you show a slice—it shows more of the proofing/kneading outcome.
The outside looks great! I think she may need to allow it to rise a little longer next time or perhaps just score it a little more. 10/10 she did great!

this bread is made by the upward movement of water under hydrostatic pressure in rocks or unconsolidated material beneath the earth’s surface?!
