That's all. I know there are so many different types of salsas out there and Pace is seen as a major brand, but their Hot never disappoints. Tasty with enough little kick. Always in stock and not $15 for a single jar like other brands.

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

I’ve always thought of Pace as the official salsa of, “We have hot sauce at home.” It’s as if ketchup and Tabasco had a very polite child.

Seriously though, it’s got a decent flavor & heat for name brand jarred stuff, so I think it’s a great middle ground when you have friends over who aren’t spice goblins.

Up until recently I loved Pace. Started making my own salsa a few months ago and now Paste tastes like sugary ketchup

Ditto. Hot enough to be satisfying, easy to find & doesn’t break the bank. 🌶

There is a farm that has a country store and I bought some of their ghost pepper salsa…it was the hottest thing I have ever eaten. Great flavor but had to toss it because I couldn’t handle the heat😔

Growing up, Pace was the salsa my family used for homemade tacos (american style, fried corn tortilla, ground beef, cheddar cheese, ect…).

And here i am mid 30s, and still that style just doesnt taste as good without it lol. It’s the only thing i use it for. I wouldn’t call it a “good” salsa, but i go through jars of the stuff so what do i know.

  6. Pace isn’t bad if you use hotter peppers in there to buttress it. A good pepper flake with Pace is chef’s kiss.

This stuff’s made in new york city?

Years ago when I worked at Chili’s, when the chips and salsa were still free, the salsa was equal amounts of pace picante sauce and fresh tomatoes. Throw it in the blender, nothing else added. That was a good 45 minutes of my day before we opened, just blending shit.

  9. Now I went down the rabbit hole on Pace’s website. I had no idea they had that many products. Their chile de arbol salsa sounds interesting although I do make a pretty good one at home.

Have you tried Mrs Renfros? Best store bought salsa in my opinion. The ghost actually has great heat but the habanero is my favorite.

    Enjoyed Pace.. as a kid.

    But those chips are A++

Friend of mine found some ghost pepper pace and sent it to me. It’s sooooooo good.

  13. AnchoviePopcorn

Those are the best chips commercially available. I’m so jealous because they are not available in the east generally.

Add a little Valentina in it and you’re cooking with gas. Valentina is the definitive chip hot sauce

  15. I don’t like Pace, but my parents always have it. So I eat it whenever I’m visiting. It’s not bad for what it is, and it’s better than ketchup…but I’ll put it in the same category.

  16. KnightofWhen

I enjoy this as well. My go to is Mrs Renfro’s (Habanero, Ghost Pepper, California Reaper) because they have great flavor and heat, but if they’re not available then Pace Picante Hot it is.

If you get the salsa instead of the picante it is less watery.

  18. Low_Quarter_2426

Well, at least you have good taste in chips.

If you like Hot Pace…try Buccees Scorpion Pepper salsa. It is literally Hot Pace

  20. I bought some the other day and compared to hoy phung garlic chili sauce pace has little flavor and no spice.

  21. Disastrous_Garage729

I do too, but prefer the chunky kind.

One time, my ex wife couldn’t find red enchilada sauce and texted me to ask if hot pace would work as a replacement. My answer of “yeah, it’s not that hot” lead to delicious enchiladas that no one else could even handle a single bite of. I count as a win.
