It’s difficult to quantify how many calories are in a product if it appears to be less than 5 (I think that’s the cut-off). Some beverages like Coke Zero have 0 kcal on the label because they might contain up to 5 kcal but it’s too tricky to tell so in the US they’re able to claim 0. Diet Coke ought to be similar.
2 kcal seems fine to me. Regular Coke though…different story.

In most cases diet or sugar free soda has zero calories.
