The strip side was probably the best I have ever had. The filet was amazing. I thought it was on the rare side but the texture was excellent. The bread was smeared with a garlic, chive butter and was excellent with the steak!

    Nope it’s perfect. I would’ve liked to see a little more of the fat cap on the strip melted but that’s just personal preference. But really good job, porterhouse is tough to cook properly throughout but he nailed it, probly better than I could do. Also, for all the thin slicers out there that’s how you slice a steak.

    I don’t understand all these too rare questions. Surely the only measure of if it’s too rare was if you enjoyed it? What can a bunch of strangers with a wide variety of tastes add?

    No, to most this is perfect. I prefer blue rare, but would eat this any day of the week.
