Easy Dessert Recipe for Easter Baklava with Honey, Mixed Nuts and Butter in Porcelain Baking Dish
easter’s coming up and in my household that means baklava I grew up eating the Greek kind which uses walnuts but I’m an equal baklava opportunist so I’m using a mix of nuts here I spice mine with cinnamon cardamom and nutmeg and I like to layer melted butter between every layer of filo dough And by every layer I mean every layer I love our porcelain baking slab for this because a good baklava is thick and crunchy and I never have to worry about scratching it up with a knife It’s super durable My version of this dish includes equal parts honey and sugar and the option of orange blossom water if you want it Plus a little flaky salt never hurts
