I modified this one by adding some HF chopped chicken thighs I had in my freezer because I unfortunately had this meal for a couple of weeks and lost my asparagus so I needed to add something to this! It was so good, I’d definitely order it again though and get another chance with the asparagus!

There’s nothing special about the sauce, just the herb butter and cream cheese but it was the added chili flakes and the toasted panko that made this dish. I’m added toasted panko to all my pasta dishes now, lol!

I misplaced the almond slivers but I’m not totally sure I would add them now as I’ve tasted the dish, I think that would have added too much of a nutty taste since they would have been toasted with the panko and I have mixed feelings on that. I like when nuts are added as a coating to salmon or chicken but sometimes in this kind of dish, they just seem too overpowering.

I also added HF garlic bread. Definitely give this dish a try. I know HF pasta dishes are very simple but they’ve always had a great flavor and usually make more than the recommended portions.

  1. Thanks for sharing the pics of your ingredients. I love seeing the different packaging people get from different areas. None of my packaging matches yours at all and I think that’s really cool.

  2. This one is great as is, including the asparagus and almonds. I have it coming in a future box and I subbed broccoli for the asparagus just to mix it up a bit.

    I also love the toasted panko. If you like that, I recently had the lemony spaghetti with Brussels sprouts, and that also has toasted panko and was fantastic.
