I give an update on my container grown fig trees.
And I’ve been growing these figs in pots for a number number of years. I overwinter them in my garage. Let’s look at the fig production. Here you go. They’re getting pretty big. This is the Chicago Hardy fig. Some there, some here. Got quite a few. Here’s the one I believe is called Petite Negra. Big there. And saw some more somewhere. There’s some right over here as you can see. Might be more, but it’s all I see for now. So, they’re doing pretty well. And I got to keep them watered a lot. It’s been very very dry. If you look at my grass, very very dry. Probably getting into rain. It’s been very hot. But they’re doing pretty good overall. I’ll give you an update later on in the season.
