Crab cakes are one of my favorite appetizers when I’m not out to eat on a budget, but we got crab cakes at home. And even at home, baby, they a little on the expensive side. I know the recipe calls for lump crab, but I use claw crab meat mixed with lump crab meat. And then also mayo, the John mustard, lemon juice, worer shower sauce, and then seasonings of my choice, including O Bay and Cajun seasoning. I didn’t use hot sauce, but I did use two eggs cuz I didn’t want any spice. I divided my mixture into even parts using a measuring cup. And then I pan seared them on each side with some butter until they were like the color that I desired. I think I did a total of six crab cakes. And once I had all six of them to the desired color that I want, I end up adding them on a baking pan. And then I put them in the oven for about 10 to 15 minutes. not long. And then I paired them with some rumalized sauce that I made by myself.
